If I decide to use another short story besides the one I already started; will be taking another short story that I wrote called "Out To Play" or "A Room of My Own" and syncing the text to a drum solo I found online by Aric Improta. I was contemplating using a drum solo from Led Zeppelin or The Killers. Haven't decided yet but I think I like the randomness of Aric's solo as opposed to a predictable beat. The stories are a bit sporadic and uneasy ike the last one I presented. The story also takes place in New York this time so there will be more images of that. And like Young-Hae Chang Heavy industries does, will do the film reel countdown in the beginning to feel more cinematic. Also, the second story I may choose, "A Room of My Own" takes place at a Holiday Party and in that case, I would use a song with a piano instead of just drums. This time I want the text to appear to us at more than one word at a time. I also want to play around with text and colors and shapes more like how Young-Hae Chang Heavy Industries does with the American flag. But will use images related to the story. They also play with words dissapearing on beats and I want to learn how to do that. Do they create their own songs? I think the biggest challenge is finding sound that really captures the tone of the story.
